And health is as much about your physical level of fitness as it is of your mental and emotional aptitude.
It’s about your ability to think, learn, memorise, identify patterns and establish connections, develop meaningful relationships, manage your emotions and contribute to those around you.
Because your level of contribution parallels your level of health.
Health is about how you feel about yourself, and the effect self approval, or its absence, has on your immunity, digestion, energy levels, and weight.
Health is about assigning meaning to life. It’s about your congruency with your spiritual values, your sense of self alignment.
But health doesn’t come in a little pill.
I wish I could tell you it’s that simple.
Health comes with a robust foundation in a body that works as it should. A body that digests and metabolises, because these are the basis for being clear of joint pain, diabetes, IBS, Crohn’s, heart disease, depression.
For having consistently high energy levels, thinking clearly and being capable of becoming a great mum, dad, lover, friend, coworker, business owner… because your social skills, degree of confidence, presence, engagement and fulfilment have been honed and fostered by an extremelly well functioning body and brain.
And it starts with the basics. How you eat, and how you live.
Food is medicine, but your relationship with food is pure alchemy.
And how you eat, your love, fear, or hate of food, affects every aspect of your health, mood and weight.
And I want to show you exactly why that happens. I want to teach how you can master your diet and relationship with food so you can let go of the self hate that comes with a body and eating behaviours you don’t like, of the fatigue, bloating, hurting whenever you eat, the chaotic mood. These are a drain on your energy, your confidence, sense of purpose and direction in life.
Make no mistake, health is the foundation of a fulfilling relationship, a vibrant career, of setting a good example to those around you, particularly our kids.
Spring is the perfect, biological time to clean up your diet, mindset and lifestyle. The habit of Spring cleaning is not a product of chance, we intuitively recognize now to be the time for cleaning up the mess, for rebirth and renewal.
